1. Junior Engineering Assistant   (JEA)  

No of  Vacanct post: 379     

Educational Qualification:

Junior Engineering Assistant-IV (Production) : 

A three-year diploma in Chemical Engineering, Petrochemical Engineering, Chemical Technology, or Refinery and Petrochemical Engineering, or a three-year Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or Industrial Chemistry from a recognized Institute or University is required. General, EWS, and OBC candidates need at least 50% marks overall, while SC/ST candidates need a minimum of 45% marks for reserved positions.

Junior Engineering Assistant-IV (P&U): 

A three-year diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering, or a diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Alternatively, a Matriculation qualification with a two-year ITI course in Fitter trade. Another option is a B.Sc degree in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or Industrial Chemistry from a recognized Institute or University.

 In addition to these qualifications, candidates must possess either a Boiler Competency Certificate (BCC) with Second Class or a National Apprenticeship Certificate in Boiler Attendant under the Apprentices Act, 1961, endorsed as equivalent to the Second-Class Boiler Attendant Certificate of Competency by the Competent Boiler Authority of the State where the refinery unit is located.

Junior Engineering Assistant-IV (P&U - O&M) : 

A three-year Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Electronics Engineering diploma from a recognized institute or university. General, EWS, and OBC candidates need at least 50% marks overall, while SC/ST candidates need a minimum of 45% marks for reserved positions.

Junior Engineering Assistant-IV (Electrical) : 

Candidates must have a 3-year Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Electronics Engineering from a recognized institute or university, with a minimum aggregate score of 50% for General, EWS, and OBC candidates, and 45% for SC, ST, and PwBD candidates applying for reserved or identified PwBD positions.

Junior Engineering Assistant-IV (Mechanical): 

Candidates must have a 3-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institute or university, with a minimum aggregate score of 50% for General, EWS, and OBC candidates, and 45% for SC, ST, and PwBD candidates applying for reserved or identified PwBD positions. Alternatively, candidates can have a Matriculation with an ITI in Fitter Trade of at least 2 years duration with a Pass class.

Junior Engineering Assistant-IV (Instrumentation):

 Candidates must have a 3-year Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering, Instrumentation and Electronics, Instrumentation and Control Engineering, or Applied Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering from a recognized institute or university, with a minimum aggregate score of 50% for General, EWS, and OBC candidates, and 45% for SC, ST, and PwBD candidates applying for reserved or identified PwBD positions.

Junior Engineering Assistant-IV (Fire & Safety): 

Candidates must have completed Matriculation and a Sub-Officers’ Course from NFSC-Nagpur or an equivalent regular course of at least 6 months from a recognized institute. Additionally, candidates must possess a valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License.

2. Junior Quality Control Analyst  

No of vacant posts: 21 

Educational Qualification: 

Candidates must have a B.Sc. degree with Physics, Chemistry/Industrial Chemistry, and Mathematics, with a minimum aggregate score of 50% for General, EWS, and OBC candidates, and 45% for SC, ST, and PwBD candidates applying for reserved or identified PwBD positions.

3. Engineering Assistant    

No of vacant  posts: 38   

Educational Qualification:

 A three-year full-time Diploma in the relevant engineering disciplines from a government-recognized institute.

4. Technical Attendant     

No of vacant posts: 29

Educational Qualification:

As mentioned below, the matriculation/10th pass and ITI certification from a government-recognized institute in the specified ITI trades and duration. The qualification must include a marks sheet indicating marks for all semesters/years and a Trade Certificate/National Trade Certificate from a government-recognized institute/board.

Other eligible Criteria for IOCL Recruitment

 Age limit: For unreserved candidates is a minimum of 18 years and a maximum of 26 years as of July 31, 2024.

Age Relaxation:

# OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years

# SC/ST: 5 years
